At G. D Goenka, we aspire to achieve the same. We set the foundation for learning by engaging students’ minds with a wide range of learning mediums and teaching-learning resources. We ensure that our young children are happy, socially and emotionally confident individuals. We shape them for success during their formative school years with our structured curriculum which primarily focuses on Experiential Learning and the Montessori method of teaching.
development and through the means of our rich curriculum we prepare our students for primary classes.
Primary (Grades III to V)
The curriculum in the Primary School aims to inculcate foundational knowledge and skills amongst the learners. The course content focuses upon domains that enhance the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and cultural development of every child. The syllabus at this stage includes the entire spectrum of disciplines from the languages, English and Hindi, to Mathematics and Environmental Science. As per the National Education Policy 2020, imparting Skill Education should be an integral part of a child’s learning
Middle (Grades VI to VIII)
The curriculum at the Middle Level broadens and strengthens the foundational knowledge gained at the primary stage. The focus of the curriculum is fixed firmly at the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of the child. While the curriculum continues to evolve in a helical manner, building upon the scholastic foundation laid at the primary level, a new subject, Social Science, gets added to the academic bouquet. The Middle Level not only draws heavily upon the scholastic achievements of the students at the primary level, it also inculcates the discipline and rigour that they would be needing to take on the pressures of the Secondary Level. The assessments at the Middle Level are further streamlined and aligned with the degree of difficulty and examination pattern of the Secondary Level as outlined by the CBSE.
The academic year is primarily divided into two terms:
Term 1 (100 Marks): Term 1 is precisely the first half of the session. It constitutes of a unit test (20 marks) and a half-yearly test (80 marks).
Term 2 (100 Marks): Term 2 is the second half of the session. It also constitutes of a unit test (20 marks) and a yearly exam (80 marks).
The Half Yearly and Yearly Examinations are pen-paper based assessments conducted at the end of each term.
The overall assessment of a child constitutes both scholastic and co-scholastic domains. The co-scholastic domain constitutes of music, art and craft, theatre, sports etc.
Secondary (Grades IX and X)
The secondary level comprises of grades 9 th and 10 th , where our young learners take the preliminary steps to make their career dreams come true. The students have their first glimpse of the scholastic evaluative systems beyond the school. Their future goals and aspirations gain greater clarity and the focus of the curriculum is on guiding, encouraging and empowering our learners within the domain of framework provided C.B.S.E. Cognizant with this, the curriculum at this stage strictly adheres to the systems developed by C.B.S.E.
Senior Secondary (Grades XI and XII)

Students are offered to choose from three different streams namely Science, Commerce and Humanities. We offer 5 elective subjects, considering the admission criteria of Delhi University.
